President Biden could influence strong unemployment provisions in the next bill.

What's Happening at the moment?

The American Rescue Plan has passed and was signed into law.

While a great help for many, it still left massive holes for the unemployed, and now programs are ending too early. In some cases they have already ended.
Biden's Plan to Build Back Better has become the framework for the Democrats legislation in Congress.
He needs to support our demands in the next package.

We need:
-
Retroactive relief for all affected workers. Our proposal for a tax credit is here.
-
PUA, PEUC, and FPUC programs extended until the crisis is over with automatic stabilizers.
-
Tax on UI/PUA cancelled and refunded for 2020 and 2021.

-
Rent cancellation.
-
Healthcare relief extended past the American Rescue Plan's expirations.
-
Direct aid through recurring cash payments.
